So we tried the Rice cereal again....still didn't like it. I also tried Oatmeal and she seemed to tolerate It more but she needs to learn how to swallow...
Oatmeal's a little better...
I don't like this rice stuff!

That tongue thrusting movement is actually a physical reflex that she Can't swallow properly yet . So its not that she doesn't like the stuff, her body just isn't ready for it, its a safety reflex to prevent choking, monkeys do it to! hahaha I love that we are all just monkeys!
Ya I just learned that. From what I hear Is when they stop doing that there ready for cereal. Guess she's not ready yet.
it usually goes away about 4-6 months, so you will be able to give her some before you know it! And with those little hamster cheeks I'm sure she is going to love solid food!!!
